Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Maliqo ("the Service") is provided by Mehdi Shamoli Salahchini, an individual seller trading as "Maliqo", 5 rue de la Zorn, 67300 Schiltigheim, France ("we", "us"). By using the Service you are contracting with Mehdi Shamoli Salahchini. Contact: torneh.persian@gmail.com.

2. Acceptance

By creating an account or continuing to use the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. The Service

Maliqo is a web and Android app for tracking household expenses: scanning receipts with AI-assisted text recognition, categorising purchases, reports and charts, a home pantry and a shopping list. New accounts receive a free trial; continued access to paid features requires an annual subscription.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information, keep your login credentials confidential, and you are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You must not misuse the Service, including by:

• using it for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable law;
• fraud, spam, or impersonating others;
• uploading content that infringes intellectual property or other rights;
• interfering with security: distributing malware, probing, scanning or scraping the Service, or circumventing usage limits;
• reverse engineering, reselling or redistributing the Service.

6. Intellectual property

We retain all rights in the Service, including its software, documentation and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it for personal purposes during your trial or subscription. You keep ownership of your data and receipts and grant us a limited licence to host and process them solely to provide the Service.

7. AI-processed results

Receipt reading and translation are automated and may contain mistakes. Please check amounts and items; the Service does not provide financial, tax or legal advice.

8. Payments and subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, renewal and cancellation for web purchases are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Purchases made inside the Android app are processed by Google Play under Google's terms. 9. Service level

We work to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The Service is provided "as is", and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You can delete your account at any time in Settings; your data is then permanently deleted.

11. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as loss of profits or data), and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing limits liability for fraud, death or personal injury, or your statutory consumer rights.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by French law. Disputes are subject to the competent courts of France, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new version.
